How do I find your food truck?

Check our EVENTS CALENDAR or social media! Our Instagram will have the most up-to-date information on upcoming events.


Do you have a brick and mortar?

Sure do! Each winter we operate MOGROG Cafe at Alpine Meadows Ski Resort. Check out the menu here!


Do you accept online orders?

Yes. You’re able to select from our menu and order for pick up from the food truck or cafe during hours of operation. Click the “FOOD TRUCK MENU” or “CAFE MENU” link at the top right of our website to choose from which location you’d like to order. Please come to the window and give us your name, and we’ll check on your order for you.


Do you have gluten free or dairy free options?

Yes, our menu has both gluten and dairy-free options. For other dietary restrictions we are happy to make customizations for you when you order directly at the window. Please inquire about your specific allergen, as the menu rotates seasonally with ingredients changing usually week to week.


Do you cater weddings?

Yes. Bookings for 2024 weddings will begin in April 2024. If you would like to reach out with questions about your wedding for next Spring/Summer/Fall we are happy to provide you with menu options and pricing information, and we’ll confirm your date in April 2024. Do you cater private events?

Yes. We are thrilled to be a part of your celebration! We cater events within the Tahoe/Truckee region, and we can travel to Incline Village, or the Sierra Valley for an additional travel fee. For catering inquiries please fill out our Catering Request Form below and we will follow up with you as soon as possible.

We offer three main types of catering services: Food Truck Event, Family-Style Dinner, or Fine-Dining


The minimum cost for food truck events start at $2,600 for 2 hours of service. The cost includes our prep-time for your event, set up, two hours of service, and break down. It also includes all food cost and labor cost. Our minimum does not include sales tax, gratuity, or travel costs. Our minimum group size for a food truck event is 35 people. Smaller groups may enquire about Private Chef services that do not include the food truck.

The MOGROG Food Truck is available for events within the Tahoe/Truckee region, including Incline Village and the Sierra Valley for an additional fee. The additional cost for travel to Incline Village is $150, or the Sierra Valley is $200.

Do you have a minimum charge for food truck events?


Yes we do!* Our 1973 Mercedes Unimog is 4x4 and very capable. Our hearty chefs are happy to fire up the on-board rotisserie for your next private or public function.

*Weather-related traffic closures are out of our control and are certainly more common during winter months.

Do you operate the food truck in winter?


Do you provide tableware for private events?

Yes, for casual food truck events we use our single-use, compostable plates, bowls and utensils. For formal events we offer dinnerware, glassware, and flatware for rent for day-of use.


Do you provide staff for private events?

Yes, we will staff accordingly depending on the size of the crowd and style of your event..


Do you serve alcohol at private events?

Yes, we have a beer and wine license. We can purchase the alcohol for your event through our wholesale purveyors, or we’re happy to pour alcohol you have purchased. Beer and wine service comes at an additional charge and requires extra staffing.


What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, checks, and all major credit cards (sorry, no Discover) with a 3.5% transaction fee.
